  False Alarm Analysis Program Software

The Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) and its members, in cooperation with the law enforcement community, have developed a software program known as the "False Alarm Analysis Program" (FAAP). Though the program was developed at a cost that exceeded $150,000, it is available to law enforcement agencies for FREE - no strings attached, to be used as a system tool or as a development template to help with alarm management.

FAAP is designed to:

FAAP Software
FAAP Manual

Word Format

PDF Format

Assist in developing and measuring standardized criteria for the performance of alarm users and alarm companies in attaining false alarm immunity.
Assist law enforcement in the billing and collection of false alarm fines and alarm permits, thereby significantly reducing the administrative burden of law enforcement in administrating a municipal ordinance.
Some of its features are:
Provides reports which analyze alarm user performance individually and the performance of the alarm users of each alarm company.
Provides a listing of the worst alarm users listed in descending order.
Creates invoices and statements following the municipal ordinance.
Bills for new permits and renewals of permits when due.
Tracks and creates reports indicating fine or payment delinquency.
Can optionally flag when an alarm user has reached a "suspend police response" level based upon a predetermined number of false alarms in a period such as one year.
Where can it be installed?

The software is a Windows based, single user or multi-user LAN compatible system designed to reside on a server or on a stand-alone Pentium or better PC hardware platform.
